A standard industrial filing cabinet, albeit a little thin in terms of the steel case. That however isn't a problem and the product seems perfectly strong enough. The only concern is the test of time, but it is too early to judge that yet!
The drawers open and close cleanly without and sticking, scraping or jerking. Overall a great product that will help keep all that paperwork in good order.

I am totally organised now, wish I had bought this years ago. Someone said that the drawers are stiff to open - i didn't find that at all and I suspect that maybe the customer in question wasnt familiar with the anti-tilt mechanism that the cabinet (actually most filing cabinets have this nowadays) features which only allows you to open one draw at a time. If another draw is not closed properly, you will not be able to open the others. Very smart mechanism to prevent the cabinet from toppling forward with the weight of the drawers.
Again I am very happy indeed.

The filing cabinet is exactly as described and was delivered in excellent condition. The amount of packaging was correct in that it protected the item without overpacking it and leaving a load of packaging to dispose of. The lock, whilst a little flimsy is an ample deterrent and the safety feature of only allowing one drawer to open at a time is sensible if not always ideal. A good cabinet.

Pretty poor for the price. Very flimsy. Poor build. Poor movement of drawers ... need to be yanked out. Not good at all. Put the extra star as it does stand and you can place files in it.
