I think that the author has done a first class job in making Joomla accessible. As a complete beginner to building web-sites. I learned how to successfully build basic web-sites from the associated Joomla book. Since then I have built 3 web-sites. This video course was a very useful way to supplement the material already learned. And to form a solid basis for further Joomla projects.

Received this item a couple days back and watched the first hour last night - lesson 1 and 2.
I was quite impressed until I got to the end of the 2nd lesson when Barrie started saying "Blah, Blah, Blah" and blowing respberries when getting his lines wrong. The editing has obviously gone very wrong here and leaving these bloopers in makes the voice and video go out of synch.
Quite unproffessional and to be honest I'm pretty gob smacked on the quality assurance of this product.
Good content so far but spoilt by bad editing!

This is a very good videobook, but I'm afraid it's ruined by the lack of syncronisation of the voice and video. It's some part that skips and the video is way ahead of the voice. This destroys the whole videotutorials... Sad thing, bacause this was realy a good start for me...
